In 2004 I delivered on that promise (almost) while in ICU following a heart attack when I had medical staff bring a phone into my room so I could call all my clients to apologize for not being available for a few days. Then I relaxed and followed Doctor's orders. Only to be at a home inspection for a Buyer 3 days later, with Doctor's permission. That is the kind of commitment you can expect.
